Illinois Driving School is a licensed and state approved driver education corporation. It has been in existence and providing service to the chicago-land area and neighboring suburbs since 1982. Illinios Driving School (IDS) is responsiable for teaching students at five major high-schools and numerous alternative schools in Chicago. IDS also gives lessons to adult students 18 years and older. Refresher courses are provided for companies that have a need for responsible employees that can drive and to senior citizens in need of our service. During this 30 year period IDS has trained and helped over 25,000 people without ever having an accident! We are proud of this major accomplishment and know that this factor alone shows our strong creditabilty as a school as well as the quality of driver education we provide.

IDS is the first green driving school in the U.S We are dedicated to the preservation of our enviorment as well as the health and well being of future generations. We have dedicated our focus of a greener tomorrow by doing all our behind the wheel instruction in top of the line hybird automatic cars. This helps lower the pollution today, and works towards providing a promising tomorrow. IDS believes that the most important point of teaching driving in the city of Chicago is to keep it cost effective. Northern and Southern Universities offer driver education programs that stress the importance of paying attention and decision making in the driving process thus eliminating accidents. These are the two important factors that IDS has incorporated into its driving training program. By using these effective techniques in eliminating accidents, IDS has been able to keep the most costly variable, insurance, to a minimum. This cost savingis then passed on the consumer.
